The Summer Program 2020 has three three-week programs of the following dates:
Session 1: June 15 - July 3, 2020
Session 2: June 29 - July 17, 2020
Session 3: July 6 - July 24, 2020

We offer two programs

Advanced High School Program:
This is designed for high-school juniors and seniors to experience college education. This will include a variety of different academic and interest-based courses to prepare them for their future.

College Preparatory Program:
This is designed for prepare students for college applications. In addition to offering students an experience of college education, this will include additional college coaching workshops on the application process, its components and required tests.
The fee structure of this program is as follows:
Advance High School Program
Base Fee- PKR 45,000/-
Any additional elective PKR-5000 to 10000

College Preparatory Program
Base Fee- PKR 55,000/-
Any additional elective PKR-5000 to 10000

Note: Accommodation is only for outstations:
Hostel fee: 10,000
Refundable security fee: 10,000
Students must register online through the website by choosing their desired program and filling out the online form.

The application consists of a two-stage registration process. The student will be required to fill out their personal details and create an account. Following this, the student will have to select courses they wish to take in the Summer Program. Students can also decide if they wish to opt for the hostel accommodation and SAT Preparation which will entail an additional cost.

Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead towards the cancellation of your enrolment at any stage and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.

Once the online registration has been completed for the desired session, students may proceed to the payment section. There will be two options for payment:

- Pay Online by using bank debit/credit cards through the LUMS online payment system:

- Download the fee vouchers and deposit cash in any branch of designated banks specified on the fee voucher.

Once the payment is made, a confirmation email will be received within 24 to 48 working hours and the payment status will be updated to "PAID" on the online application portal.

Once you make the payment, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours and your payment status will automatically get updated.

Please note: CES may cancel a course due to insufficient enrolments. In this case, you can select another course.
We work on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, you can apply for the program up until the point it is filled. We suggest students to apply as early as possible.
LUMS does not have a preference for students who attend the LUMS Summer Session.
However, it is encouraged that you take up any summer activity class or program that you are interested in - this does add value to your application. What is important to LUMS is how you learn to grow and contribute because of these experiences.
After your payment you are officially a student at our Summer Program. You will be notified of further details via email.
No, the fee for the program is non-refundable.
Hostel accommodation is available for our out-station students. There are separate dormitories for females and males.
The LUMS accommodation will offer twin-sharing rooms. You will be provided with a bed and mattress, a desk, a chair and a cupboard. All the rooms will be well-ventilated. There is a common room on each floor with constant air conditioning and a TV. Every floor is also equipped with a kitchen, which is furnished with an iron stand, stove, microwave, fridge and water cooler. You will be required to bring your own crockery as it will not be provided by hostels. Furthermore, there are two bathrooms on each floor with five shower cabins and five toilet cabins each. There is also a laundry service available on-campus.
No, we do not offer any discounts or scholarships for Summer Session.
There will be designated visiting timings, usually in the evenings. However, if the student wishes to go out of LUMS, we would need a permission email from their parent/guardian.
In the event of any medical emergency, parents will be contacted as soon as possible. In the absence of parents, the CES Staff will accompany the injured/sick to our on-campus Emergency Medical Centre.
It is important that the CES Team are kept up-to-date with any treatment an individual receives in case he presents with a related problem.
There are multiple facilities such as, dining, cricket and volleyball grounds, mosque, super store, pharmacy and laundry services (for boarders) which will be available to students

Yes. Students are expected to bring electronics for both school and personal use. Once registered on the university network, students can access their school work, check assignments, and do Internet research within the parameters of our premises. The school supports both PC and Mac operating systems and also has numerous computers available in our computer lab for students to work on throughout the day.
The cost of meals is not included in the Summer School @ LUMS fee. The students will need to bring cash for their meals from any of the LUMS in-house dining facilities.
