Overview:

The Young Learners Programme runs for two weeks for students aged 8 through 13 in the upcoming school year. We are looking for students who enjoy participating in creative classes and making new friends or want to sharpen their skills related to leadership, art, technology, and communication.

Students are required to choose one course from each module.

Reading, Writing, and Speaking:

  • Writing the Real World: Exploring Non-Fiction??

Business and Leadership:

  • Young Entrepreneurs: Turning Ideas Into Action??

  • Money Matters: A Practical Guide to Financial Literacy????

  • Design Thinking: Ideas to Impact

Scientific Reasoning and Discovery:

  • Patterns, Data, and Decisions: Thinking with Numbers in Science??

  • Introduction to Astronomy

  • Environmental Science and Climate Action??

  • From Ideas to Interface: Mobile App Design??

Creative Arts:

  • Smartphone Photography and Visual Storytelling

  • Podcasting: Voices and Stories??

  • Animation and Game Design for Young Creators??

  • Visual Design Using Canva??

  • Theatre

Please note: LUMS YLP is open to students who are in Lahore during the summer. Applicants outside this area are welcome to apply. However, parents or guardians are responsible for all lodging, transportation to and from campus, and meals. LUMS does not provide housing for YLP participants.
